The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) establishes regulations for the use and disclosure of Protected Health Information (PHI), which is any information held by a covered entity concerning health status, provision of healthcare, or payment for healthcare that can be linked to an individual. Broadly interpreted, this includes any part of an individual's medical record or payment history.
As a Business Associate, Priority Archives takes every precaution and follows every guideline to assure strict adherence to these mandates at all levels of our organization. Priority Archives stores patient information as a third party for release upon request for the following organizations:
